Lisa is the owner and founder of Marble City Sweets. As an artist from a young age, Lisa experimented throughout life in various fine art mediums to express her unique creativity. Everything form drawing, painting, print-making, sculpture, jewelry, music, etc.
After graduating from The University of Tennessee with a degree in Psychology in 2011, Lisa dove right into Culinary School. She graduated from The University of Tennessee Culinary Institute in 2012, and is now a Culinary Arts Instructor at The Rel Maples Institute for Culinary Arts, teaching Intro to Cake Decorating, Advanced Cake Decorating, and Plated Desserts.
Lisa has been featured on Netflix Sugar Rush, won countless awards for her unique approach to cake decorating, and has been featured in magazines!
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, listening to podcasts, listening to audio books, watching documentaries, and learning new techniques in the field of baking, pastry, and cake decorating.
D’brian is the co-owner of Marble City Sweets. He joined forces with his wife, Lisa, in 2019, when he saw how passionate she was about this vision of a custom cake & gourmet dessert bakery where everything was made entirely from scratch. D'brian helped Marble City Sweets rocket launch into what it is today, and he has been an integral part of the business ever since!
D’brian is a Patrol Sergeant at the local Sheriff’s Office, and has been serving since 2012.
In his spare time (what spare time?!), D'brian enjoys spending time with family, working out, playing softball, playing video games, and cooking!
Director of Marketing and Social Media
Tiffaney is our Director of Marketing and Social Media. She is also both our business and family photographer. Tiffaney has been photographing our family since 2015, and our cakes since 2017! She's been known to help in the kitchen from time-to-time when needed, and is also an integral part of our business brainstorming sessions.
Tiffaney works part-time as an AEMT on Dollywood’s Medical Team, and is truly a Jill of all trades!
Most of her time is spent homeschooling her son, and caring for her nephew. She also enjoys hiking with her husband and their two boys, taking her son on field trips, working out, photography and cooking.
