Introducing, for those who are new around here, Lisa Varnado! Lisa is the owner/founder and head Chef of Marble City Sweets!
Lisa is an artist at heart and has dabbled in different mediums throughout her life, finally landing in the culinary arts. (Aren’t we lucky to have this creative genius making our cakes?! )
After graduating from The University of Tennessee with a degree in Psychology in 2011, Lisa graduated from The University of Tennessee Culinary Institute in 2012. She is now a Culinary Arts Instructor at The Rel Maples Institute for Culinary Arts!
Lisa has been featured on Netflix Sugar Rush, won countless awards for her stunning creations, and been featured in magazines!
Lisa is a #boymom with another boy on the way, arriving in September!
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, cooking (yes, even after being in the bakery all day), listening to true crime podcasts, watching documentaries, and listening to books on audible.
Introducing, for those who are new around here, D’brian Varnado! D’brian is co-owner of Marble City Sweets! He has been helping Lisa since 2019! Team work makes the dream work and that statement has never been truer! This husband and wife duo are unstoppable!
D’brian is a Law Enforcement Officer at the local Sheriff’s Office! He’s been serving since 2012.
In his spare time (what spare time?!), he enjoys working out, playing softball , and cooking! He’s a master on the grill! He has really stepped up and given every spare second and gone without sleep to get Marble City Sweets built in record time!
D’brian is a Dad of two, soon to be three, boys! Baby number three will be arriving in September! D’brian and Lisa’s hands and hearts are, without a doubt, full!
Director of Marketing and Social Media
Tiffaney is our Director of Marketing and Social Media! She’s also our Photographer and has been photographing our family since 2015 and our cakes since 2017! Tiffaney also helps out in the kitchen when needed!
Tiffaney also works part-time as an AEMT on Dollywood’s Medical Team!
Most of her time is spent homeschooling her son or working in her garden! She also enjoys hiking with her husband and their two boys, taking her son on field trips, working out, photography and cooking.
